I am a member of the Board of Directors and was the Club Treasurer and Secretary for ten (10) years. The membership (of the Club) averages 300 +/_ per year.
The Membership Meeting is held on the last Thursday of each month at 6:00 PM with; the Board of Directors
meeting held immediately after the Membership meeting. Should the last Thursday of the month fall on a holiday the meeting(s) are moved to a date posted on the Club web site.
Unfortunately the membership meeting has not been attended by more than two or four members. Rarely, five or six members show up; I have only witnessed the quorum (five members) once in the past year. The idea of a member meeting is to advance the Club the way the Members want to see the Club develop. The past and present gossip indicates members have ideas or complaints that are not presented by attendance of a Member meeting.
The Board of Directors members attend the Membership Meetings, let them know what you are thinking so they act accordingly.
