League Events:

The Wednesday Night Gallery Pistol League (indoor range) meets at 5:30PM each Wednesday. For Info contact Carl Dunn at 603-616-9356

Wednesday Night Steel Pistol League (outdoor range) Canceled for Summer 2018:  Starts early summer and ends in fall when it’s too dark.  Price to shoot is $5 for members and $6 for non-members.  These events are open to the public.  Shooters are timed shooting various steel targets with penalties for misses.

22LR Marksmanship Challenge

          
Events will be the last Sunday of each month,10-noon or so. This will be a 22LR only event. Firing positions will be from the prone, or bench rest where permissible. Supports will be attached bipod and rear bag support only, No mechanical rests. Targets will be Asprin at 50yds, Tums tablets at 100yds, steel at 150 and 200yds. The steel will be a “know your own limits”, ranging from 2-8″ in diameter. 100 rounds of ammo, and 10 dollars in your pocket should be all you need to complete this fun, no pressure event. International Defensive Pistol Association (IDPA) League

Alder Brook Sportsmen’s Association (ABSA) has recently become affiliated with IDPA and will be offering organized practices and Club level matches. For details on rules and safety, check out the web page: Home – International Defensive Pistol Association (idpa.com) The Club’s IDPA league offers a low-cost way to practice and improve pistol skills and concealed carry situations. Instruction will be provided to shooters new to IDPA during practices and club matches. Practice participants should have a good foundation of pistol handling and safety. Equipment required: pistol suitable to carry for personal protection, belt mounted holster, magazines-ammunition carriers, 100 rounds. If you are new to IDPA shooting, plan arriving 15 minutes early to talk to the Safety Officer in charge of the range.
